I was lucky enough to spend my Back to the Floor day at our new flagship development, Victoria Mills in Bradford, where I spent the day working as an Estate Maintenance Operative. I was delighted by the enthusiasm of the on-site team and how everyone was committed to working together to deliver the best service to residents.

Our Estate Maintenance Operatives are responsible for maintaining the quality of our developments and ensuring everyone’s safety. At Victoria Mills, I was able to put into practice fire alarm testing, smoke vent testing and corridor checks, which helped me learn how our on-site teams work to secure the safety of our residents.

As we have only recently taken over at Victoria Mills, I was able to see first-hand the real difference that our personal approach to property management can make. During my visit, I was able to assist with the painting of an external retaining wall that is located in a prominent position next to the central tennis courts and life-size Chess board. I felt a great sense of accomplishment when residents stopped to speak to us and told us how great it was to have Rendall & Rittner leading a newly established team and getting long overdue tasks such as this complete.

I found that the team at Victoria Mills are focused on delivering the very best customer service. All members are staff were engaging and supportive towards each other, and there was also excellent adherence to health and safety protocols. I enjoyed spending the day with such a committed group of people and finding out more about the day to day experiences of our Estate Maintenance Operatives.

I had a great day at Victoria Mills and have now witnessed first-hand the that importance that the on-site team makes in ensuring our sites look fantastic.
