Marking Earth Day at Rendall & Rittner
Last updated: 7 May 2024
Earth Day takes place annually on the 22nd of April to highlight the importance of protecting the environment. Beginning in America in 1970, Earth Day is now marked by individuals, organisations, businesses, and governments from around the world. This year’s theme, Planet vs. Plastics, throws a spotlight on the damage being caused by an over-reliance on plastics globally and fighting for a 60% reduction in virgin plastic use by 2040 via the Global Plastics Treaty.

Rendall & Rittner raise funds to help a variety of charities in 2020
Last updated: 12 September 2024
Throughout 2020, the team at Rendall & Rittner completed a range of charity initiatives, each with the aim of raising both awareness and funds for a variety of much-needed causes. Collectively, we supported four key charities; Great Ormond Street Hospital and Stroke Association are our company charities, whilst MIND and Breast Cancer UK have been chosen by the staff. Additionally, we also chose to raise money for the NHS, taking part in the Run for Heroes challenge and donating to Sir Captain Tom Moore’s fund-raising page, as well as supporting recycle week. In total, over the course of the year, a huge sum of £15,537 was raised.

Improving local environments the Rendall & Rittner way
Last updated: 7 May 2024
In recent years, volunteers from Rendall & Rittner have taken part in a plethora of litter picks. Litter picks are a fantastic way to promote sustainability, support the environment and improve the cleanliness of the area for local residents to enjoy. During 2022, the team at Rendall & Rittner has once again completed a series of volunteering days to undertake litter picks at locations up and down the country. Tackling waste and unwanted material in the areas surrounding some of the developments we manage, we got stuck in and embraced the challenge. With Recycle Week this year running from the 17th to 23rd October, we thought that this was the perfect opportunity to provide a round-up of our recent litter picks.
