Richard Daver, Managing Director of Rendall & Rittner, explains the importance of Health and safety, following the firm’s RoSPA Silver Award.
Rendall & Rittner is delighted with its new award in the 60th year of the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2016. We were awarded Silver at this year’s annual scheme, run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The RoSPA Awards is celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations which have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.
The scheme is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
It is great to be recognised for such a prestigious award. At Rendall & Rittner, health and safety is a key commitment and is a priority for all our employees. We aim for all our staff to have ownership over both their own health and safety, as well as that of their colleagues. Our dedicated Health and Safety Compliance Manager oversees all our sites, providing support and advice for on-site staff, property managers and clients. It is with our tight systems of operation, independent consultations, regular inspections and high standard performance that ensure we go above and beyond ensuring prevention is better than cure.
The Silver award will be presented to the Rendall & Rittner team during a ceremony at the ExCel in London on 21st June, as the event marks its diamond anniversary.
