Showcasing our commitment to health and safety excellence, we have recently been presented with a prestigious RoSPA Health and Safety Sector Award. This is one of 20 highly competitive industry sector awards presented for those working in a specialist area of health and safety management. With around 2,000 entries received each year, and entrants spread across almost 50 countries, we are delighted with this award success.
The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is the largest occupational health and safety awards programme in the UK. Now in its 67th year, the RoSPA Awards recognise the impact of workplace accidents and work-related illness. They acknowledge the hard work of those organisations that deliver the highest level of safety practices, looking at entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said: “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. That’s why good safety performance deserves to be recognised and rewarded. We are thrilled that Rendall & Rittner has won a RoSPA Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”
Speaking about the award success, Sue Petri, Director at Rendall & Rittner comments: “Building upon our Highly Commended Award in 2021 and our Gold Award in 2022, this latest RoSPA Award celebrates our commitment to keeping our employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury. Receiving this award provides external confirmation that we are continuing to deliver exceptional levels of health and safety. We would like to thank the Health and Safety team for their unstinting effort, as well as all our staff for their incredible hard work all year round. This award would not have been possible without them.”
