Rendall & Rittner named winner of sustainability award
One of the biggest challenges facing the property sector today is how to create sustainable homes and places that simultaneously balance the needs and expectations of residents with the environmental needs of the planet. We have long recognised the important role that property management companies can play in this and reflect our commitment to this through our continuously evolving ESG strategy.
We are therefore honoured to have been recognised for leading the way in sustainable property management at this year’s Property Management Awards, hosted by News on the Block. Hosted by Paddy McGuiness at London’s City Central venue, over 1,100 industry professionals came together to celebrate the successes of the residential property management sector. The judges said: "Rendall & Rittner has an excellent range of initiatives and partnerships embedding sustainability throughout the organisation over a number of years, as well as supporting charity partners at the same time. They have comprehensively embraced ESG."
Our sustainability strategy not only supports the planet but also streamlines the experiences of our customers, clients and residents. Our e-communications initiative, for example, reduces paper consumption annually and supports the planting of trees through our partnership with The Tree Council. The system also provides a secure platform for important correspondence that can be accessed whenever and wherever.
At this year’s awards, we were also Highly Commended in the Mixed Use Management Company of the Year category. This award highlights those that provide services that are specifically tailored to address the unique challenges faced by mixed-use developments that blend residential, commercial, retail and/or recreational spaces.
