For many years, we have been committed to developing and managing sustainable places and communities. Our robust ESG strategy is ever evolving as we seek new ways to reduce the environmental footprint of our work, whilst simultaneously enhancing the experience of our clients, customers and residents. We are therefore proud to have recently been presented with the Business Environmental & Sustainability Impact Award at this year’s ACE Awards.
Hosted by The Property Institute, the ACE Awards honour the achievements of those working in the property management industry. We have held TPI membership for over 20 years, collaborating with colleagues across the industry to share insights, develop best practice and setting the standard for residential block management. With the winners announced at Old Billingsgate, the sector celebrated the excellence and innovation of leading businesses and individuals.
We are also proud to have been highly recommended in the Employee Training and Development Award. This achievement celebrates the emphasis that we place upon learning and development opportunities for both our on-site and head office teams. With tailored development opportunities for those at all levels of the business, including via our Property Management Academy, we support our people in growing their skills and expertise in order to better serve our customers.
The Business Environmental & Sustainability Impact Award recognises the consideration that we place on the impact of our operations. From the 12,496 tonnes of CO2 equivalent saved through green energy providers to the 21,100kg of unwanted clothes donated to White Rose, the award highlights what we managed to achieve in 2025 due to the hard work of our team and the support of our customers. Our e-communications strategy also saw 5,190 more sign-ups switch away from paper-based communications last year and enabled us to support The Tree Council in planting 1,575 trees through the ‘Orchards for Schools’ programme.
At the heart of our approach is our alignment between our environmental policies and our resident engagement strategies. In 2025, 6,900 residents participated in a total of 319 events, strengthening community cohesion. We also continued to support a number of charitable causes, working with residents across the developments we manage to donate £34,000 worth of gifts to the Great Ormond Street Toy Appeal and 263kg of food to support 315 people in Manchester at Christmas.
