Fire safety is one of the biggest challenges facing the property management sector. The scale of work relating to addressing the safety of external wall systems and replacing unsafe cladding is huge. We have has set up a Fire Safety Remediation Team at Rendall & Rittner dedicated to working with the Building Safety Fund to action, monitor and progress applications for funding for remediation work.

Natural England has found that around 9 in 10 people believe natural environments have a positive impact on their mental wellbeing, with over 40% feeling coronavirus restrictions have made them even more important[1]. To support the preservation of green spaces, Keep Britain Tidy is running its annual Love Parks Week from Friday 23rd July until Sunday 1st August this year. Members of the public, landowners and local authorities are encouraged to join forces to love, respect and protect Britain’s parks.

Earth Day takes place annually on the 22nd of April to highlight the importance of protecting the environment. Beginning in America in 1970, Earth Day is now marked by individuals, organisations, businesses, and governments from around the world. This year’s theme, Planet vs. Plastics, throws a spotlight on the damage being caused by an over-reliance on plastics globally and fighting for a 60% reduction in virgin plastic use by 2040 via the Global Plastics Treaty.
