At Rendall & Rittner, our customers are at the core of everything we do. In order to acknowledge those members of the team that have gone above and beyond and delivered outstanding customer service, we have recently presented our Service Champion Awards 2022 for on-site staff. With nominations open to both our people and residents, we were delighted by all of the positive feedback that we received about our staff. With over 1,500 people working at developments across our portfolio, there was plenty of competition, but worthy winners have now been chosen!

Recycle Week 2022 highlights the value of partnerships

Recycle Week is an annual event run by Wrap designed to raise awareness of the importance of recycling. Running from the 17th to the 21st of October this year, Recycle Week is a brilliant opportunity for organisations to come together to encourage the public to recycle more of the right things. According to Wrap, results from last year’s campaign saw 82% of people reporting that they had altered their recycling habits as a result of seeing Recycle Week 2021 content. With this in mind, this year’s event has the potential to make a real difference.

Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, The Tree Council is a national environmental charity that brings people together with a shared mission to care for trees and the planet’s future, helping to plant thousands of trees and hedgerows in community projects across the country each year. We are therefore excited to be joining forces with The Tree Council through their Tree Partner programme in order to help enhance landscapes across the UK.

It’s back for the 17th year and it’s bigger than ever – Recycle Week takes place on the 23rd – 29th of September and our teams at Rendall & Rittner are keen to get involved. The 2019 theme, ‘Recycling. It’s in our own hands’ aims to encourage the public to get more involved by demonstrating the different ways and benefits of recycling at home.

Over the last 20 years, WRAP’s Recycle Week has been held annually to highlight the importance of recycling. This year, the event is being held from 16th to 22nd October with the theme ‘The Big Recycling Hunt’ looking to shine a spotlight on the recyclable items that are often missed at home.
