Collecting toy donations for Great Ormond Street Hospital

At Rendall & Rendall, looking for ways to support the incredible work of charities is very important to us. For several years now, we have been supporting the vital work of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity by collecting toy donations for children who will unfortunately be spending time in the hospital on Christmas day.

We are always impressed by the outpouring of support that we get from residents across the developments we manage. This year, 26 developments actively participated in the collection, providing gift donations for the children to enjoy this holiday season. A team of helpers from our Operations team then travelled across London to collect all the donations and take them to the GOSH Charity office for delivery in time for Christmas. We would like to thank all the residents who have donated to this year’s event for their generosity in supporting this worthy cause, as we have been able to collect an estimated £9,000 worth of presents.

At one development, a special fundraising piano concert was also organised by resident children. Homemade baked goods were also sold. Not only was this a lovely festive event for the community to enjoy, but through their hard work the children were able to raise an impressive £1,040 for the charity – a very big well done and thank you to all involved!

Great Ormond Street Hospital is an amazing London-based hospital committed to delivering essential treatment to children and young people from across the UK. Every day, around 750 children are seen at GOSH by the incredible team of doctors and nurses, and the extraordinary hospital also does amazing work to put a smile on these brave faces.
