Richard Daver, Managing Director of Rendall & Rittner announces RESI Award win for 2017
The Editor of Property Week, Liz Hamson kicked off last night’s RESI Awards with a reminder of how strong our sector is, even in these somewhat uncertain times. We may have seen Article 50 triggered, an unsurprising housing whitepaper and stamp duty changes over the last year. However, the real estate sector remains one of the fastest growing in the UK today, with the London Stock Exchange (LSE), recently reporting the sector’s average annual revenue growth at more than 100% nationally.
Here at Rendall & Rittner we have also seen positive changes over the last year, from further growing our building portfolio and our staff members, to launching many innovative programmes such as the R&R Residents Club and the first ever government apprenticeship in Housing and Property Management. We’ve had a busy year and it has paid off. Last night we were delighted to scoop the Property Manager of the Year award at the 2017 RESI’s, held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.
The largest property event of the calendar, one that celebrates the residential property market and its successes, was a who’s who in the industry, glamorously adorned in ball gowns, dinner jackets and bow ties, hoping to wow judges with their achievements.
We have since heard that the judges were impressed with ‘our breadth and the ability to look at residents' needs’. This is a tremendous accolade for Rendall & Rittner, and one we are very excited and proud to have achieved for the third time. The RESI’s are an important award for us to enter and it is our clear strategic vision and our dedicated staff who have enabled us to ensure we beat off seven competitors in the category. This serves to prove that a passion for what we do and how we deliver to our clients and residents ensures we continue to be industry leaders in property management.
