Rendall & Rittner go Investors in People Platinum


We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Platinum accolade from the Investors in People (IIP) standard, and we are in third place, out of only 18 real estate companies in the UK to be awarded this level, demonstrating our commitment to high performance through our strong people management.

We currently employ 360 members of office staff and over 2,000 on-site staff at more than 60,000 residential properties throughout the UK, so to achieve such a high standard and be recognised as an outstanding employer. We have moved up the scale from Gold standard, first awarded to us in 2012. We originally achieved Investors in People accreditation in 2006, and since then, have continued to develop our people management practices in line with our continued growth plans.

Without the hard work and effort from all our employees - from our apprentices to team managers and cleaners to lead executives - we would not have been able to attain a Platinum standard. This great news provides external verification from an international awarding body that our commitment to continuously improve and achieve our goals of being a lead employer in the industry, delivering high levels of customer care and offering value-added services are being achieved, which will benefit residents living at our developments, from small high-end homes through to some of London’s largest regeneration schemes.   This commitment continues!

Our Platinum standard was awarded in recognition of a raft of initiatives including the visibility of our senior management team, who provide ‘hands on’ support, and genuine care for colleagues; improvements of our benefits package, including enhanced maternity package, sabbaticals and the option to buy and sell annual leave, and coffee mornings where all staff can meet founders Duncan Rendall and Matt Rittner, and work on company values.

We were also praised for our competitive pay packages, bonuses and support to achieve professional qualifications as a powerful motivator for being a member of staff, with directors really recognising great work at every level. Furthermore, our recruitment of a Community Engagement Manager to manage collaboration between neighbours across its developments and the Rendall & Rittner Residents Club are considered innovative added value services within the sector.
