Battersea Reach is an impressive riverside development with a range of property management services run by Rendall & Rittner. I have recently spent three days on-site going back to the floor with the Concierge, Estate Operative, and Estate Management teams to gain an insight into the experiences of those that work and live at the development.
Before my Back to the Floor at Battersea Reach, I was aware of the sheer volume of parcels that a Concierge team often has to process, but it was still impressive to see it first-hand. On each day that I spent at the development, I saw over 500 packages being delivered. I was therefore pleased to see that the Battersea Reach team worked collaboratively in order to deliver an effective and efficient service to residents. For example, an Estate Operative assisted a member of the Concierge team to process a large delivery of parcels from a courier, allowing the Concierge to continue serving residents at the desk and ensuring the parcels could be delivered in a timely manner.
One of the most enjoyable parts of my time at Battersea Reach was the opportunity to interact with our residents, whether that be at the Concierge desk or out and about across the development. In my role as Operations Director, opportunities to speak to residents face-to-face are often limited and the experience brought me back to my hospitality days. There is something great about seeing a resident walk away happy with the service we are providing.
Overall, it was very clear from my visits to Battersea Reach that there are some excellent relationships between staff and residents at the development. I was impressed to see that the speed of the service was efficient whilst still allowing time to deliver a warm and considerate service that addressed the needs of the resident.
I recently spent the day working as a member of the Day Concierge team at Snow Hill Wharf in Birmingham. As the Divisional Director for Rendall & Rittner covering our Midlands region, this was a brilliant opportunity to see how our outstanding customer service levels have enabled us to become one of the leading property management companies in Birmingham.
