We are delighted to have handed over a cheque for more than £2,200 to Breast Cancer UK as a result of recent staff fundraising.

The majority of this impressive amount was raised from our ‘Time to Sparkle’ day held in the office a few months ago during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Staff came dressed to impress in their most sparkly outfits and we had a bake sale and raffle.

I have never seen so much glitter and sequins in one place, but it was great to see everyone make such an effort – even the guys! And we all enjoyed the many delicious ‘Bake-Off’ worthy treats that our talented staff made for us to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who took part and donated so generously. The remainder of the money came from other dress down days.

Breast Cancer UK is one of our two designated charities, along with MIND, voted for by staff. These are the charities that we, as a company, will continue to support for the next three years. Thanks to our charity focus group for coming up with the fundraising ideas and making events such as this happen.

Fundraising team tackles the Tower Run

Always up for a challenge, an energetic team from Rendall & Rittner’s Northern division took part in the Christie’s Tower Run in Manchester recently. This involved scaling the 798 steps to the top of the iconic Beetham Tower as fast as possible to help raise money for the redevelopment of the radiology department at The Christie cancer hospital.
